The Center for Evaluation and Development (C4ED) hosts a research conference on Development Economics from November 29 to December 1, 2017, in Mannheim (Germany).

The conference will give both applied econometricians and development economists the opportunity to learn about and discuss recent rigorous empirical research in developing countries, particularly impact evaluation methods. We are looking forward to contributions from Emmanuel Jimenez (Executive Director, International Initiative for Impact Evaluation, 3ie), Santiago Levy Algazi (Vice President, Inter-American Development Bank), Arianna Legovini (Head of Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) group), Orazio Attanasio (UCL), Klaus Deininger (Lead Economist, World Bank), Bryan Graham (Berkeley), Markus Goldstein (Practice Leader, World Bank), Marc Gurgand (PSE), Kosuke Imai (Princeton), Michael Kremer (Harvard), Eliana La Ferrara (Bocconi), Aprajit Mahajan (Berkeley), Craig McIntosh (San Diego), David McKenzie (Lead Economist, World Bank), Imran Rasul (UCL), among many others.
