C4ED recently collaborated with KfW, the German government, and the governments of Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to study the low utilization rate of the Social Health Programme and Sehat Card. Our team, led by Markus Frölich and the C4ED Pakistan team, worked closely with government stakeholders to identify the reasons behind the program’s less than 3% utilization rate. The findings and recommendations from our study will be presented to the concerned authorities, with the aim of improving the Sehat Card program and enhancing health services for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
